During the Battle of Hogwarts, after Harry's "death," Neville Longbottom pulled the Sword of Gryffindor from the Sorting Hat and beheaded Nagini with one strike. This destroyed the second-to-last Horcrux and was one of the most heroic moments of the series.
π― Significance
Killing Nagini was crucial because:
- Made Voldemort mortal again (along with Harry's "death")
- Proved Neville's bravery and importance
- Fulfilled the prophecy (either could be "the one")
- Removed Voldemort's eyes and ears at Hogwarts
