| Quidditch Pitch | Stadium for playing Quidditch with goal hoops at each end and spectator stands. |
| Astronomy Tower | Tallest tower at Hogwarts used for Astronomy classes. Site of Dumbledore's death. |
| Shrieking Shack | Supposedly haunted building in Hogsmeade. Actually where Lupin transformed during his school years. |

Hidden magical shopping street in London accessed through the Leaky Cauldron pub. Where wizarding families purchase school supplies, robes, wands, books, and more.
Ollivanders
Wand shop established 382 B.C. "The wand chooses the wizard." Run by Mr. Ollivander, a wandmaker with extensive knowledge of every wand he's ever sold.
Flourish and Blotts
Bookshop selling textbooks and other magical literature. Site of Gilderoy Lockhart's book signing in Book 2.
Gringotts Wizarding Bank
Run by goblins, contains hundreds of vaults deep underground. Heavily protected with dragons, enchantments, and other security measures.
Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes
Joke shop founded by Fred and George Weasley. Sells magical pranks, tricks, and novelty items. Becomes hugely successful.
Quality Quidditch Supplies
Shop selling broomsticks, Quidditch equipment, and related merchandise.
Knockturn Alley
Dark and dangerous side alley off Diagon Alley. Sells Dark Arts items and attracts unsavory characters.
ποΈ Ministry of Magic
Government headquarters for magical Britain, located underground in London. Accessed via visitor's entrance (red telephone box) or by Floo Network. Contains multiple departments and levels.
Key Departments:
- Department of Magical Law Enforcement: Largest department including Auror Office
- Department of Mysteries: Top-secret research; site of Book 5's climactic battle
- Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes: Handles Muggle memory modification

Platform 9ΒΎ, King's Cross Station
Hidden platform between platforms 9 and 10 at King's Cross Station in London. Departure point for the Hogwarts Express. Accessed by running through the barrier.
Hogsmeade
Only all-wizarding village in Britain. Students can visit on certain weekends from third year onward. Contains shops, pubs, and the entrance to a secret passage to Hogwarts.
Notable places: Three Broomsticks Inn, Honeydukes sweet shop, Zonko's Joke Shop, Shrieking Shack
The Burrow
The Weasley family home near Ottery St. Catchpole in Devon. A ramshackle but warm and welcoming house held together by magic. Harry often stays here during summers.
Grimmauld Place (Number 12)
Ancestral home of the Black family in London. Hidden by Fidelius Charm. Headquarters for the Order of the Phoenix. Left to Harry by Sirius.
Godric's Hollow
Village where Harry's parents were killed. Home to both wizards and Muggles. Also where Dumbledore's family lived and where the Peverells (original owners of Deathly Hallows) are buried.
Azkaban
Wizard prison in the North Sea. Guarded by Dementors until Voldemort's return. Escapees include Sirius Black and numerous Death Eaters.
Privet Drive (Number 4)
The Dursleys' home in Little Whinging, Surrey. Where Harry grew up sleeping in a cupboard under the stairs. Protected by his mother's blood sacrifice while he can call it home.
