ποΈ Hogsmeade Village
Hogsmeade is the only entirely wizarding village in Britain, located near Hogwarts School.
π Location
Hogsmeade is located in Scotland, within walking distance of Hogwarts. The Hogwarts Express terminates at Hogsmeade Station, and a road leads from there to both the village and the castle.
π Student Visits
Third-year Hogwarts students and above are permitted to visit Hogsmeade on certain weekends, provided they have a signed permission form from a parent or guardian. These visits are highly anticipated, as Hogsmeade offers students their first taste of an entirely magical community.

ποΈ The Shrieking Shack
Located on the outskirts of Hogsmeade, the Shrieking Shack is reputed to be the most haunted building in Britain. In reality, it was built to house Remus Lupin during his werewolf transformations.
πΊ The Three Broomsticks
The most popular gathering place in Hogsmeade, the Three Broomsticks serves hot butterbeer and provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It's where students relax, adults conduct business, and rumors spread.
π· Hog's Head
A rougher, less reputable pub than the Three Broomsticks. It served as the location for Harry's first meeting with interested D.A. members and later as a secret passage to Hogwarts during Voldemort's occupation.
π¬ Honeydukes
A paradise of sweets, Honeydukes sells everything from Chocolate Frogs to Fizzing Whizzbees. It has a secret passage to Hogwarts (via a tunnel leading to a one-eyed witch statue), which Harry used during his third year when he lacked permission to visit.
π History
Hogsmeade was founded over a thousand years ago by Hengist of Woodcroft. The village has been an important part of wizarding history, including serving as headquarters for the 1612 goblin rebellion.
βοΈ During the War
During the Second Wizarding War, Hogsmeade faced increased danger. Death Eaters attacked on several occasions, and the village's proximity to Hogwarts made it a strategic location.
