Vanishing Cabinets are a pair of magical wardrobes that create a passage between two locations, allowing instantaneous travel between them when both are working properly. The famous pair connecting Hogwarts Room of Requirement to Borgin and Burkes in Knockturn Alley was used by Death Eaters to infiltrate the school in 1997, after Draco Malfoy spent a year secretly repairing the broken Hogwarts cabinet that had been damaged years earlier.
